Due exists to help you send invoices and get paid. We collect only what that takes, we never sell it, and there are no ads, analytics or trackers in the app or on invoice pages.
Without an account
Everything stays on your iPhone. Drafting an invoice from a sentence, transcribing your voice, payment predictions and suggestions all run on the device and never reach us.
With an account
Your business profile, clients, invoices, estimates, payments and their history are stored on our servers so they sync between your devices and so the people you bill can open what you send them. Sign-in is handled by Clerk (with Apple, Google or an emailed code); we keep your email address and an account identifier.
Who can see it
Only you, through the app. An invoice or estimate is visible to anyone holding its private link, which is long and unguessable, so share it only with the person you are billing. When a client opens it, we record when, so the app can tell you. When a client accepts an estimate, we keep the name they typed, the time and their IP address as the signature.
Services we use
Vercel and Neon host the service and its database. Resend delivers the emails you send from Due. Apple delivers notifications. If you take card payments, your clients pay through Stripe, into your own Stripe account; Stripe handles card details under its own privacy policy, and we never see them. Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Each provider receives only what its job needs.
Deleting your data
Delete your account from Settings in the app. Everything is removed from our servers, invoice links stop working, and your sign-in is revoked. Export your invoices, payments and clients first from Settings if you want to keep them.
